Q. How do I post to a moderated Listserv?
A. Some Listserv email lists, often newsletter style Listservs or the official news Listserv set automatically when you join the Community Network, are intended only to serve as ways of sending email messages to Listserv members. Only the Listserv moderators (usually administrators or their designates) may send out messages, so that Members do not get overwhelmed with messages to Listservs.
If you are not the moderator of a Listserv and feel you should be, visit the Listserv Home Page and click the "moderator" email link, and ask the current moderator(s) if you can join them.
If you have official news, but are not the moderator of the pertinent Listserv, you can send the message to moderator, and he or she will send it along for you, or let you know another venue for sharing the information, if appropriate.
